Gratitudes 11-13-12

I got to work out of the office that’s 10 minutes from my house this morning, which meant I got to sleep in a little AND go for a run. Yay!

I got a lot of things knocked off my to-do list before the tech showed up

It might annoy others, but I really do enjoy my ability to find the silver lining in almost anything. At the very least, things could be worse. (that is NOT an invitation universe…)

It sometimes drives me nuts, but I am very lucky to have an insanely busy social calendar. Oh woe is me… people like spending time with me. 😉

Gratitudes 11-12-12

I am grateful that since the sales guy messed up, he’s willing to throw in a part that I messed up and forgot, helping me cover my butt.

I am grateful that even though I have to use vacation and sick time to cover some of the days lost to the hurricane, I HAVE those days to use, and can still get a full paycheck.

I am grateful that things like FEMA exist to help people recoup their losses

I got a good night’s sleep for a change

Massages are wonderful

The weather is amazing for November

Though I struggle with my weight, I live in a country where excess is the problem, not the lack of food.

Though I am currently struggling, I am valued at my job (or I wouldn’t still be there).

I have friends worth driving 8 hours to visit.

I think I may have actually salvaged an icky situation at work. I still messed up, but I think I  patched it up ok.

After the power outage screwing everything up, we finally got paid

After cashing said paycheck, one of the bills was counterfeit. (so why am I thankful? The bill was only a $10 and not one of the $100’s)

I have a good, reliable car

I have an interview for a job I really, really want.
